Just say “No” to Wi-Fi

Journalist Mark Gibbs recently wrote an article titled “Is Wi-Fi Killing Us… Slowly?” He referred to a recent scientific study which stated that children absorb far more microwave radiation from Wi-Fi than adults. Since EMF radiation is considered to be a Class 2B Possible Carcinogen by the World Health Organization, it stands to reason that we should all be concerned particularly for the health of our children. Possible increased risks for cancer, stroke, neuromas, ADHD are but a few of the potential adverse health risks posed by unabated non-ionizing radiation exposure.
Dr. Martha Herbert, M.D., PhD would most likely agree with Mr. Gibbs’ article. Her research has connected Wi-Fi exposure with autism. Parents and expectant parents should consider turning off the Wi-Fi in their homes and asking school their children’s school districts to return to hard wired Ethernet connectivity. One large school district in Southern California, the Fullerton Unified School District has done just that. Their board, unable to guarantee that Wi-Fi radiation is harmless, has recently entered into a contract to hardwire their classrooms.
Wi-Fi left in the “on” condition, could well pose health risks. The truth is that the technology is too new to show any long term damage at this point. However, do we want ourselves and our children to be the guinea pigs for this high-tech experiment? Think twice before you flip the switch.
